Who We Are
An impact-driven institution dedicated to expanding access to finance across Ghana’s agriculture and renewable energy sectors.
We focus on addressing the persistent financing barriers faced by rural micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), including smallholder farmers and women agro-traders.
Through tailored financing, risk-sharing instruments, and technical assistance, we help smallholder farmers and agrobusinesses grow sustainably — with particular emphasis on empowering women and youth.

RDF Ghana LBG is a company limited by guarantee, duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Established in 2016 and operationalised in 2018 by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), RDF emerged as part of the transition in Denmark–Ghana relations from traditional development assistance to trade-led cooperation.
The guarantors of RDF are the Government of Denmark, represented by Impact Fund Denmark (formerly IFU), and the Government of Ghana, represented by the Ministry of Finance.
